North Carolina Senator Visits Hopewell Academy
North Carolina Senator Josh Stein stopped by Hopewell Academy to present the school with a State of North Carolina flag on Wednesday morning, October 28th. Students were able to ask Senator Stein questions about his job and what an average day in the life of a State Senator is like. He also led the school in the pledge and toured the facility.
"We were so thrilled to have Senator Stein stop by Hopewell this morning," said Valerie Anderson, Hopewell Academy Dean of Academic Affairs. "It's not every day that our students are able to speak with a State Senator. It means a lot to our students that he took time out of his busy day to visit our school."
